About
Our spaces are layered, lived-in, and full of character. We work with natural textures, materials that develop patina over time, and objects that carry personal meaning. The result is interiors that feel refined without feeling precious, and enduring without feeling static.
Every project is guided by meticulous attention to detail and genuine collaboration. We work closely with architects, builders, and local artisans we trust, bringing the right people to each project so the process feels as considered as the outcome.
For us, luxury is not about appearances. It is about how a space lives, moves, and feels. We design interiors that are unmistakably yours.
Meet Dana
FOUNDER, PRINCIPLE DESIGNER
Dana Lacuesta is the founder and principal designer of Dana Grace Interiors. For more than a decade, she has been creating thoughtful, enduring interiors defined by understated luxury, layered character, and a strong sense of place. Her work spans new construction, full renovations, historic restorations, boutique hospitality, and the careful art of furnishing and curation.
After leading a full-service design firm in Nashville for seven years, Dana relocated to Traverse City in 2019. She collaborates closely with a trusted network of architects, builders, and craftspeople, guiding each project with clear communication, steady creative leadership, and an editor's eye.
Her spaces balance polish with personality. Curated, collected, and unmistakably individual.
Julia Kline
SENIOR DESIGNER
Julia brings a rare combination of artistic intuition and technical precision to every project. A graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Interior Design, she has spent more than a decade working across high-end residential design, large-scale public art, and immersive installations. Her range is wide and her craft runs deep.
At Dana Grace Interiors, Julia leads design development and drafting with equal parts care and imagination. She is fluent in Vectorworks, AutoCAD, hand rendering, and 3D modeling, and she brings a level of visual storytelling to each project that shows in every finished detail. Warm, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in the work.
Cammie Buehler
STUDIO MANAGER
Cammie brings more than 25 years of hospitality and operations experience to the studio. Her background spans corporate events, weddings, film and print production, private service, and work as a private chef. She knows how to keep complex, detail-driven projects on track without losing the warmth that makes the process enjoyable.
At Dana Grace Interiors, Cammie ensures every project runs smoothly from start to finish. She manages the moving parts so the team can stay focused on the work, and she brings the same attentiveness to studio operations that she has always brought to hospitality. Based in Traverse City with her partner Tyler and their dog Pip.
A Note on Who We Serve
Every project honors the individuality of the people we work with. We welcome clients from all backgrounds, regardless of gender, religion, race, ability, or identity. Good design belongs to everyone.
